We’ve proudly given a ‘home from home’ for over eighteen of your colleagues in the last three years and waved them a sad farewell when it’s time for them to move on. How we work.
Whilst we work very closely with the Accommodation office at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, and other staffing agencies, we are an independent home provider. We will take an application from you, sort your references and checks as quickly as we can and then ask you to make a holding deposit. Once you move in, your bond is protected by the Deposit Protection Service. We will ask you to sign a tenancy agreement but we understand you may not be able to stay for the whole six months and only charge you for your time with us.
Each house is created with sharing in mind. We’re happy to provide desks if required and will do our best to accommodate you in the right house for your needs. We also understand that contracts can be short and change at late notice. If you’re arranging your accommodation at a distance we can do video walk arounds of the house and we can even put you in touch with the previous tenant so you can ask them what it is like living there. Hopefully you’ll be happy to do the same in the future!

Our Standards
Unfortunately, unless your shared accommodation falls within specific zones (or is a certain size) meaning it is checked before being issued with a licence, the house you move into could well fall below the requirements for your safety. They may be appealing for other reasons but the necessity to consider the bigger picture couldn’t be more obvious.
On the other hand, Lancashire Hill homes are all compliant with HMO regulations regardless of location or size. To start with, we are experienced, we conduct a Fire Risk Assessment of each property and implement the measures necessary for safety. This is before we start thinking about the amenities we can provide you.

On Whitegate Drive, you will find the following: Sainsbury’s Local, Tesco Express, Subway, Cash points, hair dressers, beauticians, Takeaways, post office, Chip Shop, Pubs, Tattoo Artist, Gift shops and many other businesses. LIDL is further along on Devonshire Road. The town centre is fairly close too.

We have one double room available here from mid July at £445 in this extraordinary and beautiful house. All bills are included, the house is cleaned every two weeks and there is parking too. We have a bike shelter in the back yard and the bus to the hospital is just two minutes away. The room is on the first floor and shares the master bathroom with two others. The kitchen is fully appointed with two large fridge/freezers and a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. All bedrooms have TV aerial points as well as hard wiring for your internet devices such as Smart TV or Laptop.
PALATINE ROAD, FY1 4DS DOUBLE ROOM. £400 pcm - Regular Availability.
This property is PERFECT for Agency Nurses. With a total of six bedrooms, we often have space available, where you will be sharing with between four and five others. Although we don’t recommend walking to the Hospital, we are assured that taxi costs are between £4.50 and £6 with the tenants sharing lifts to work. There is some parking available and the bus stop is ten minutes walk with another ten on the bus. The house has a shared kitchen with three fridge freezers, a large oven, microwave, washer and tumble dryer. There is also a large lounge with two sofas, a TV and dining table.
